When I think about the meaning of appearance, a lot of words come in mind: look, style, first impression, acceptance, tolerance, real, projection, belief, trust. The truth is everything is appearance. Often, when talking about appearance people make reference to fashion or to the look. But, they do not realize that word means much more than that. It is the way you present yourself to others, or the way others present themselves to you. In general, appearance is a projection of what you think is real. That’s why we lie, brag and sometimes pretend. What you see isn’t always what it is.
